2 of the 20K LEDs can be individually operated with the lighting switch on the top of the aquarium (even though there is only a single power cable for all of the LEDs). These types of high intensity LEDs put out more than 3 times the power of the older power compact model while remaining cool to the touch. This light output is appropriate for soft corals and anemones.
